W L West & Sons Ltd are established Hardwood Timber Merchants and Sawmillers based in Selham, West Sussex with a heritage going back 154 years.
Along that trading history we have continued to invest in modern up to date machinery. Our latest investment is in a Felder Profit H350 5 Axis CNC , together with a Felder Tempora F800 Edgebander and a Felder Format 4 Heated Press. This investment followed a request from one of our clients to undertake a specific project to manufacture solid core doors.
The mix of machines allows us to machine complex shapes as well as doors, fix solid lipping’s and adhere veneer’s to boards. With a 5 metre bed, the CNC is capable of machining long product such as stair strings. But the diversity of what we can machine on the CNC goes from doors to Oboe Boxes.
